Gloriana grew up poor on the outskirts of St. Andrews. She suffered severe self-esteem issues and looked at herself often in disgust. To settle his debts, her father sold Gloriana to a nobleman, who saw her as nothing more than a training dummy for his sword fights. Amid the trauma forced upon her, Gloriana grew enamored with the image of the wealthy--they were unburdened by empathy, and their ameliorations allowed them to appear however they wished to. For every blow she sustained in "training", she healed herself with physical alterations--including a new face--in an attempt to make herself unfeeling and perfect. When she grew powerful and confident enough, she killed her "owner" and took charge of her own management. She opted to test her fighting prowess in the arena, where her success led her to become the ameliorated wonder we see today. To repress her past, her mind conceived the story of a being ameliorated from birth, the epitome of beauty and grace.
Gloriana is vainglorious; she is a talented fighter and unafraid to flaunt it. She takes pride in her appearance, her body now completely made of ameliorated parts. Gloriana maintains an air of poise and beauty, but has a tendency to let wrathful emotions overcome her in a stressful situation. She assumes her own success is given: "Did you expect any less?"
